Family Therapy

Family therapy helps families resolve issues and conflicts that can arise within a family. Issues include relational difficulties, parenting, grief/loss, alcohol and drug misuse, eating disorders, parenting during and after separation, school difficulties.

Betty engages with all family members who are affected by the problem. Sessions can be with individuals, some or all of the family as appropriate.

Betty’s approach to family therapy is solution focussed with an emphasis on a holistic approach to the problem.

Family therapy sessions are typically one hour and can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The number of consultations are typically between four to six depending on particular needs.

Betty’s practice is based in South County Dublin. Appointments can be made by telephone or email.
